In my artwork at this point I have reached many problems off of the start. When I first started I made a dock but it was exactly straight and when you look at fishing docks they are not exactly flat. So when I was figuring out how to make it look more real and three D, I asked Mrs. Bailey and she showed me some examples and how to do it. I also added mountains in the background to fill a lot of empty space towards the top of the page. I used Line to show how the dock would either be straight or a little deformed, I also made jagged lines when making the mountains in the background.
I made an artwork where I took newspapers and cut out letters to make my name. I also drew some of my interests which are sports. So I made a football, baseball, and a golf club. I used space to make the width and lengths of the baseball so it's centered. I used sharpie for all of the drawings that I did, I also made sure to use different letters so it gives it a sort of uneven feel. The art elements that I used were color because I made sure that the letters I picked out were very bright and vivid. I also used line in the sports objects that I drew. The studio habit of mind I used was observe I used this in how I looked up images of footballs and baseballs so I know how they look exactly. I didn't make the lines exactly straight because I know that footballs and baseballs are not perfectly straight the are a little messed up at some points.
